King Rogers, retired in early 2001 after almost seventeen years as Vice President, Assets Protection for the Target Corporation. Prior to joining Target, he was Director of Assets Protection for Strawbridge and Clothier in Philadelphia for over fourteen years. He started his career as an intelligence officer in the military and with the federal government.
King has served as Chairman of the International Mass Retailers Association Loss Prevention and Audit Committee and was awarded the President Award. He has received recognition from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Cargo Security Council where he was recognized as the industry leader of the year in 2006. He has also been recognized by Michigan Sate University for his role in the development of the internet based Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Security Administration. In 2007 he was inducted into the "Ring of Excellence" which is the National Retail Federation’s Loss Prevention Hall of Fame. He serves on the Board of Westec Interactive and the International Cargo Security Council.
King and his wife live in a log home that also serves as the corporate retreat on a beautiful lake in northern Minnesota. In their spare time they both enjoy the outdoors and fishing for walleye.
Jack Smith, CPP, retired from the U.S. Secret Service in 1990 as Deputy Assistant Director for Protection Operations after also serving as the Special Agent in Charge of the Intelligence Division. Since 1990, Jack has been the Principal in a security management consulting firm and has provided services such as security planning for four Republican and one Democratic National Conventions, the Goodwill Games and to TSA within the Department of Homeland Security. Jack recently was the Executive Director of the Information Sharing and Analysis Center for the critical infrastructure of the global Supply Chain (SC-ISAC), a member of the ISAC Council.
Tom Heffelfinger is a former US Attorney who served two separate terms as the US Attorney for the Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota District. He is currently a Partner at Best & Flanagan, a Minneapolis law firm, where he specializes in white collar criminal practice and has a large Native American client base. He also served as Assistant US Attorney and was an Assistant District Attorney in Hennepin County.

John Wells is currently the President and Owner of several businesses including WellsWells, a security consulting company. John’s extensive career has focused on numerous aspects of retail planning and design, ending his corporate work as Manager Assets Protection Systems, Planning & Technology for Target Corporation. While there, John developed centralized capital and project management teams, provided architectural planning of retail, distribution and corporate spaces to enhance security through physical design and managed the development and application of security systems and technology for the corporation. Previously, as Target’s Property Development Support Systems Coordinator, John managed prototype and rollout projects, coordinating planning, design & technology requirements for support systems including Store Operations, Technology Services and Assets Protection, with Property Development groups including Architecture, Engineering, Store Planning and Design, Construction and Purchasing. John joined Target to manage the store planning and design of Mervyns, Target and Super Target stores, following two decades as a Principal and Officer in several international retail planning, design and architecture firms, including Retail Design Partners, Wells Planning & Design and Retail Planning Associates. John is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College of Architecture and holds the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Design.
